Model: 1934 Ford Truck
Another great model from the Owen Firty Timber Co!
This 1934 Ford Truck, adapted to run on rail, started life as a Berkshire Valley Models kit. It has been equipped with a NWSL Flea 4-wheel drive, Digitrax DZ143 decoder, and a somewhat 'tatty' exterior finish!
A railcar is a self-propelled railroad vehicle designed to transport passengers. The term "Railcar" is usually used in reference to a train consisting of a single coach.
During the end of the steam era many railroads were economically forced to look for ways to save money - rail trucks, rail cars and rail buses were an economical way to move small amounts of passengers and freight.
